Caracoles Festival in Samal!
Caracoles is one of the festival in the Island Garden City of Samal. Its celebrated on the 28th and 29th of April. Its a big festivities. Its the summer festival of shells and a thanksgiving celebration of Samal's rich marine resources. Many will compete with costumes being the under the sea creatures. Just looking at the previous celebration the costumes the participants were wearing they look like in the Mardi Gras of New Orleans and the Sinulog festival of Cebu City.
